
Zuckerberg Gets A Lot More For Your Thoughts!
The latest ‘thought meme’ about Zuckerberg, is that now everyone thinks he is so evil, he’s actually demonstrating his readiness for presidency.
The Guardian and many others are getting it all wrong. For instance they shout about ‘data harvesting’ and ‘secret tracking’ while having three tracking systems on their website. One of which is Facebook Custom Audiences – so that they can deliver ads to people based on what they were reading. Did they ask you for permission to do that?
It’s been an interesting few weeks
After ‘going underground’ for about a year I had noticed that things were sliding. Not surprising. What has been surprising is how quickly things have picked up.
You may have noticed I have been a little more active in the last fortnight all because I am re-energised and refocused. I have actually done quite a lot of work behind the scenes and have found the balance I was looking for.
My balance is so in tune with my chi that I am halfway through writing out a new programme called The Extraordinary Lifestyle. It is based on what I have worked out that anyone can do – and it is a lot easier than most would think. I hope to release at least part one next week. Maybe.

After that there’s about 7-9 hours of content in there.

Talking of emails…
I received a letter of complaint (my comments follow):
“Dear David I have been a long term subscriber, supporter and have attended many of your events in the past. I was dismayed to see an email full of jokes last week and today I was incensed to see a picture of Prince Charles where you clearly displayed your anti patriotic feelings, especially when Britain needs all the support we can get…” The email droned on in that vein.
The reader / writer was committed and that was great to see!
For the record I just thought the image of Prince Charles was a funny one.
I also shared it on facebook where it was liked and also shared.
Overall readership last week was up – the highest on days when I published ‘jokes’. Sadly too many people it seems takes life too seriously.
This person unsubscribed before, so I guess he/she/it will be back again.
Personally I like the unsubscribe feature. I want people to unsubscribe especially if what I write is not for them. That’s ok. In fact I celebrate when I get an unsubscribe and it’s even better if I get a complaint as it means people are reading my messages.
I know that people generally like my messages as both readership is up, plus I am getting ever more clicks on links – the FREE Reports have proven to be very popular. I recommend you do the same.
Perhaps unsurprisingly I have another report in mind for next week. Will it be neat and tidy? Complete? Without spelling miztakes? Probably not. It’s the way of the Whirld.
The point is that these reports will never be perfect. They will never individually suit you. They and I can’t please all the people all the time, it’s impossible!
The reports and my messages are what they are and they are from my heart. If you want to make use of my suggestions then you will always need to interpret it to make it fit your whirld view.
The One Recurring Question…
I do get one recurring question and that is if I am so successful, how do I get the time to write all this… Well, this makes me smile. My first answer is that to get the time I had to first find success.
Secondly, the reality of just about all I do is talk to a large number of people – has been for years. I produce once, and due to the way I produce, my content seems to last for years and gets shared and is read by many.
I think of all this in terms of how can I afford not to make the time. Finding it is a necessary investment in the future, making the time available now is an absolute. In any case the more you write the better you get at it, even my mistakes are celery now.
Get Clients Now
As well as the new FREE report that I plan and will not be ready to reveal until next week. I also have another product to put out there. Plus I hope to release the first edition of my new newsletter called Get Clients Now.
The theme of the newsletter is in a word, and I know there are a few who hate this word (as it is so ‘American’) is “leverage”. Or more specifically: “upside leverage” two words.
Upside leverage is a technique I have learned through trading and it is the method by which you trade in such a way as you limit the downside to almost zero while at the same time you target unlimited upside.
Lots of people tell me that the disadvantage to trading is that whenever you win, there is always someone who loses. Not so when you employ Upside Leverage.
The Big Penny For Your Thought…
Let me give you an example of upside leverage. We touched on this earlier, and this is the penny for your thought that I asked you for earlier: humour.
Humour is free. Yet it is immensely valuable!
When you use humour there is no cost.
Yet when you use humour it is often contagious.
People smile, some will laugh, others may even roll around.
Humour can go viral.
Every champion of their field of industry that I have ever met is full of humour.
He or she is able to demonstrate charisma, affinity and other stuff, that all comes from the use of humour.
It is my contention that Humour is massively over looked in business.
Should you even use Humour in business?
I have heard it said: only if you want to get paid.
Sure there are joke books, TV channels, funny films, comics and newspapers dedicated to humour, rarely do you see the topic of humour in anything related to business studies though.
I am not going to divulge my list of upside leverage topics, yet let me leave you with the thought that there are quite a lot of them that most business schools, business systems and business people overlook – that really costs nothing, that can add huge value to a business. Like humour does.
Because upside leverage tends to be free, it’s techniques can be implemented super quickly – and I really think I have discovered / uncovered and will reveal many sides of business that is rarely or has never been covered before. Certainly not in a modern context.
Oh all righty then, here’s some more topics of ‘Upside Leverage’: Referrals, Productivity, Your next 100 days…. There is a lot that can be included in the ‘Upside Leverage’ list – and little of real value available on most of the subjects.
