Today is a day that is pleasantly noteworthy for some – snow in March, what fun! For some though it will be making life very difficult – with widespread travel disruption and already deadly traffic accidents. The general guidance is to not travel and stay at home.
It is bringing out the best in people. One business owner such as Ross McKinnon of Glasgow runs a business called Amazing Days and his offering his 4x4s with snow tyres to any doctors or nurse who need to help others.
The latest news is that RAF is deploying troops and their 4×4’s in Lincolnshire to get medical staff to patients who are in urgent need. Of course it is not all jolly and fun, sadly. Charities are responding to more and more alerts of people caught out, sleeping rough.
So if you are at home what can you do? I have already had a call or two from friends and colleagues and I suggest that you take the unexpected quiet time do some marketing. I suggest we all do at least one thing that moves you forward everyday in any case, that is certainly my habit.
Just two days ago I was talking to an old friend about a book she had taken several years to write and how she intended to use it as a platform for future business. A great Idea.
From that conversation I was inspired to put together a short four part course: The Crazy, Lazy Way To Write A Book. If you would like a copy I will send it to you, it is available in four parts. Click here to get it… no registration required. As a result you should be able to put together a short book in just a few weeks – with time off!
If you are stuck, and want a chat about what to do, why not call, leave a message and I will call you back on 020 3322 1282. Or if you would prefer to schedule a time to speak in the next few days click here for my scheduling service.
I hope you enjoy the snow and the time that it gives you to be productive.
